2 ways to install ThunderBird mail client on Windows 10

2. To get the installation file for Windows 10 or 7, just click on the Free Download button.
   
3. Once the Thunderbird Setup is on your PC, double click on that to run it.
4. Click on the Next Button and let the Standard setting be selected. In case you want to change the installation folder from the default location then you can go for the Custom option.
5. Hit the Install button and the Thunderbird email client will be on your system in few minutes.
   

Thunderbird Installation using Choco Cholatey command line

If you don’t want to use above given graphical method then we can get this open-source email client using the command prompt by running the Choco command.

1. Go to Windows 10 or 7 Search box

2. Type- cmd and run it under administrative rights.

3. Copy-paste the below command-

4.  Once the execution of the above command is completed, close your Command Prompt and open it again with admin rights as you did in Step 2nd.

5. Finally, run the Choco command to install Thunderbird on Windows 10 or 7.

   choco install thunderbird

6. That’s it, the email client is on your system.
   

7. In the future to upgrade or remove the Mozilla email client, you can run:

   choco upgrade thunderbird
   
   choco remove thunderbird
