While broadcasting the Facebook Live video it smoothes overall facial imperfections in real time such as blemishes dark circles. We didn’t find any discomfort while using the Beauty Live app and the good thing is that you ca directly login to Facebook account using this app.
Asus Zenfone Live zb501kl Design: Small, Compact and Light
The design of this Zenfone Live is very similar to ZenFone 3s Max but instead of the metal body, it uses a plastic one. It is one of the lightest 5-inch smartphones we have ever seen, it weighs just 120g and sits in your palm easily and feels very comfortable to hold due to its rounded edges. The volume and power ergonomically placed at the right side and respond well. The navigation keys are placed under display like most of the Asus smartphones. The one thing which disappoints us is that there is no fingerprint sensor, so you have unlocked the with a password or pattern.
Display: HD resolution yet looks good
The Asus Zenfone Live sports 5-inch HD IPS display but it doesn’t feel dull from any side. The color produces during videos, images and Facebook Live look good. The display is enough bright to read the text and use social media under the sunlight, plus viewing angles are good too. To comfort the eyes the Asus Zenfone live has inbuilt Bluelight Filter to reduce the stress on eyes by blocking out blue light.
Software: Feature packed UI but old Android version
The Phone’ runs on a customized layer of Asus Zen UI which based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Like other Asus smartphone, the Zenfone Live UI is also full of features, such as the dual user interface, lock home screen, and online themes. Sometimes it feels clutter due to the presence of so many pre-loaded apps.
Camera: Decent camera but Good colors
At the back side of the smartphone, it houses a 13 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. The colors it produces look good, accurate and natural in most of the cases. The shutter speed is fine but clicking moving object little bit tricky and produces blurry images. The low light images come good but the noise can be there too. But whatever the camera is enough good for everyday social media posts.
Coming to front selfie camera the phone has 5 MP camera with f/2/2 aperture, 82-degree wide view angle and a ‘soft-light’ LED flash. The quality of front camera for selfies is good under bright light but in low light along LED flash, the images look a little bit grainy. The camera app gives you plenty of options to click images with effects and beautification mode.
Performance: Ideal for Daily usage
Under its light weighted hood it powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core SOC along 2GB RAM nad 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via mircoSD card. We used the Asus ZenFone Live more than two weeks and it worked smoothly without any glitches. The daily tasks such social media, reading and web browsing and light games can easily be executed on this phone without any heating issue. Although it is a decent performer when you try to play heavy games on it, you could notice some performance lag.
About the battery of Asus Zenfone Live ZB501kl smartphone, it packed with 2650 mAh battery that lasts for a day on modest use. Even with heavy usage, it can last for more than 9 hours. In our battery loop test on full brightness and sound, it gave us a juice of 5 hours 12 minutes.
