Kodak Launches XPRO series – KODAK 43″, 50″, 55″ 4KXPRO TVs

On the occasion of completing 3 years in India as a Kodak brand licensee, the SPPL has launched 3 new TVs under its XPRO series to take on this festival season charm.

• Exclusively available on Flipkart at attractive prices of Rs. 22,999 (KODAK 43 4KXPRO), Rs. 28,499 (50 4KXPRO) and 32,999 (55 4KXPROTVs) respectively
• The products are equipped with Android Open Source 7.1.2 and support the apps such as Netflix, Hotstar, Amazon Prime to offer the seamless viewing experience

India’s budget Tv segment player Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. (SPPL) has expanded its Television portfolio with the addition of new XPRO series. The new addition comprises three 4K TVs: KODAK 434KXPRO, KODAK 50 4KXPRO  and KODAK 55 4KXPRO. 

All of them supports 4K resolution and composed with 1 GB of RAM and ROM of 8 GB.

According to 6Wresearch, India Smart TV market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 30.2% by 2024. 

This festive season, SPPL is expecting a sale of 2 Lakh units of Kodak HD LED TV’s and aims to acquire 7 % market share for SPPL. Speaking about the launch of the new products, Mr. Avneet Singh Marwah, Director and CEO, Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd said, “We are delighted to announce the expansion of Kodak XPRO HD LED TV series. We have always marked our efforts proactively to support the demands of our customer. Thus, we have come up with these 4K models and recently we have started a new production line at our Noida facility with a production capacity of 3000 units in a day and we will be offering 2-3 variants in every quarter”.

There are three significant improvements which can be seen in the XPRO TVs as compared to earlier models of KODAK are:

4K resolution support in YouTube: Most of the budget segment players including some premium smart TVs don’t allow a user to watch videos over Youtube in 4K which taking in to account by Kodak and this time they have revamped their software. Thus as a result, now users of Kodak TV will be able to entertain themselves with 4K videos. Moreover, it is really a practical option when 4K content is still not that much prevail in India.

Wifi and Miracast overhaul: Following the feedback of consumers, the thing which keeps exasperating them was the connectivity of Miracast in earlier models of Kodak TVs which was quite sluggish, especially during connecting. Now as per the company it will not be anymore and also with new Wifi module users can connect Wifi up to 20 meters. Plus iPhone users can also now cast their phone content on Kodak.

Reconstruct Remote: Again an experiment has done by the KODAK to woo consumers by giving heed to their other complain which was the long and awkward size of the TV remote, it was really a plight for small-handed people to when it comes to handling it. This time the company offers small and modernised remote which will be easy to handle and also gives a feeling of using a smart tv.

In the year 2019, the newly launched TVs of SPPL, Kodak XPRO TV series with KODAK 32FHDXPRO, KODAK 40 FHDXPRO, KODAK 43FHDXPRO and KODAK 50FHDXPRO TVs will be available on Flipkart
