Following other big smart tech brands’ strategies, OnePlus has joined the wagon of smartwatches in 2021. However, to make their products reachable to everybody, Oneplus also have an affordable sub-brand known as Nord; under which they have recently launched a new smartwatch – Oneplus Nord Watch.
Giving similar to Apple watches look, Oneplus Nord features an AMOLED display of 4.52cm (1.78″) with a nice 60Hz refreshing rate. If we talk about the screen resolution of the watch then it is 368×448 pixels. It has a brightness of 300 Nits. For connectivity, the Nord watch relies on Bluetooth 5.2, which means no GPS, hence the user has to rely on BT even to display navigation data.
The design of the OnePlus Nord watch is rectangular, and slim with rounded corners, hence can be worn by both men and women. Available in two colors- Deep blue and Midnight black. Apart from this, there are health and sport-related smart features, the watch has to offer such as an SPO2 for Oxygen level, Heart rate, and stress level monitor with settings to track them for 24 hours. Whereas women can track their monthly cycles as well using it.
In addition to it, 105 different sports modes such as cycling, running, yoga, football, and more, including automatic running and walking tracking. For sweat and water protection, the watch is armed with IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
As per the official website of Oneplus, the watch is made up of zinc allow and plastic, and the straps are silicon. It comes with 230mAh in-built battery that can provide 30-day backup in power-saving mode, however, the active users can get ten days of backup, claimed by the brand. Currently, in India, the OnePlus Node smartwatch is available at INR 4,999 listed on the official website.
